    A DIDYMOS cloth - many possibilities.

    Depending on how hard your child is straight and what distance you have to handle, they can choose between different ways of carrying. Most parents wear newborns in front of their chest, simply because they have the little one in view. Larger children like to be taken on their hips on short distances, while wearing them better on their back on longer paths. From birth to the third year and for any situation there is at least one way to wear.
    Above all, it depends on that it is comfortable for you and that your child feels comfortable. Information on which age to be used are therefore suggestions not to be understood as rules.

    For each wearing position, we suggest different binding options in the instructions (English language not guaranteed) and recommend you try them all once. So you will find out which you and your child like best.

    The longer you choose the DIDYMOS cloth, the more possibilities you have. With a size 6 cloth most ways to wear can be tied. It depends on your body size, whether you choose the scarf one size larger or smaller.
    In the following table you can see which wearing methods you can tie with the different length scarves.

    With each DIDYMOS sling, you will receive the binding instructions as a booklet and also on DVD.

    The booklet contains detailed step-by-step instructions on 36 pages for 16 different binding methods. Also general information on carrying and lots of small tips and tricks that make handling the sling easier, more comfortable and faster. The DVD shows the binding of all ways of wearing in short films and explains either in German or English.

    The Robert model is made from a cross twill fabric. In this fabric, the binding points change their positions crossly. Different colours of the chain threads can be created with striped patterns. Both sides of the cloth look the same.
    Cross body is characterised by good elasticity in diagonal direction and high strength in longitudinal direction.
    The evenly dense fabric is very robust and elastic.

    Special requirements are placed on the material of a sling: DIDYMOS cloths are elastic and remain in shape even under strain without wearing out. They are durable and tear-resistant, but not too heavy or too warm. You can wash them frequently without them becoming disturbed or getting out of shape.
    No doubtedly dyes or textile equipment are included. So you don't need to worry about your baby snuggling it. The fibres of all DIDYMOS slings are certified from controlled organic cultivation and according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

    Controlled organic cultivation means:

    The further processing, from spinning and dyeing of the yarns to the finished cloth, takes place in selected companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

    Some examples of different binding methods that you can tie with a DIDYMOS cloth.

    The baby is supported by three cloths to all sides up to the head. Therefore, this upright carrying position is suitable for newborns. It is probably the most important way to wear.

    From the tenth week, the horizontal cloth rail of the wrap cross carrier can be avoided.
    The cross carrier is very quick to tie.

    When parents take a slightly larger child, they usually sit on the hips and hold it in place with one arm. The same is much more comfortable with a cloth.

    is good for a heavier child to sit on their back.
    You do not need any help from another person.
    Larger children who know the process often help themselves with tying.

    The "cradle" is ideal for weighing a newborn to sleep and doing something else. If the child has fallen asleep, you can gently put it down with the cloth without waking it.

    In the first few weeks, you can also put your baby in the cross carrier.
    The weight is distributed very evenly across both shoulders.

    is a refinement of the hip seat that gives more support and is very easy to put on.
    You need a longer cloth than for a simple hip fit.

    Ideal for long hikes. Thanks to the very good body closure, you hardly have to balance with your shoulders. The waist band dissipates a good part of the weight across your hips, which relieves your back.
